Fall Crops Harvested Early... LOL

My 16 year old daughter, Dani loves playing w/ Evan and taking his pictures. She gets the cutest pictures of him. He is such a ham for her and he tolerates it so well. Although in this picture his seems to be silently pleading for someone to 'save him'.

Today, after finding an old Halloween Costume, Fall Crops arrived early.

PUMPKIN IN JUNE!

More Stampin' Room

I worked at a LSS and the owner was getting rid of her 8 1/2" X 11 paper racks. I bought two shelves (they stack) and one for my mother in law for Christmas. Needless to say, now I'm the favorite daughter in law. Dang, I'm the ONLY daughter in law. LOL
Beside the rack, I have sterlite totes labeled for scraps. Anyone that wants to come over and have a 'scrap day' to use up some of my scraps, YOU'RE WELCOME TO COME! My totes are full and overflowing!
Okay, this doesn't look like it's organized, but believe me it is... sort of...
I have a 'nuts and bolts' container straight from Farm & Fleet. It has brads and eyelets in it. Each drawer is divided into thirds and organized by color and size...
The 'chicken coop' holds all of my NON SU! individually mounted stamps. My husband built for me MANY years ago, when my drawers became too heavy and started collapsing. Now my drawers are labeled and OPEN AND CLOSE. :)
The wire drawers are HUGE... they hold A LOT of punches and in the top drawer Colorbox Chalk Ink (I love these pads and wish SU! still carried some of them--they are a wonderful hybrid ink. They are wet like craft so great coverage and fast drying like classic ink...best of both worlds).
Under the table, there lives two sets of drawers housing everything a girl could need at a hands reach. They were for Christmas decoration and I got them clearanced out at Shopko. I brought them home and WAH-LAH they fit underneath the table perfectly.
I have two Color Caddies. I have both of them about full and cannot decide what I should do when I put away the new In Colors. Do I buy a third or go to a different system?
Now, my true addiction.....RIBBON! All those containers on top of the chicken coop are FULL of ribbon. Don't let the photo fool you...those containers are deep. I would hate to know how much money I have spent on my love of ribbon. It is organized by color and type....
Gosh, now that I have finished showing you all my 'stuff', I feel like I should stand up and say.... "Hi! My name is Wendy and I am a STAMPING ADDICT!"

My Stampin' Room

I had a baby in October--so we needed another bedroom. EEK! Guess where? Oh yeah * the basement/stamping area.**GROAN** I panicked. I pouted. After just putting an addition on our house and not expecting 'a growing family' at this stage in our lives--(honestly, I thought our family had reached capacity)--I knew that there wouldn't be another room added to the house and we would have to work w/ what we had.

It isn't finished yet. My husband is the carpenter, drywaller (this is his 'real' job), flooring guy, electrician, finisher, painter and trimmer---he's not afraid of being fired, the lady he's working for has a crush on him. *wink* When he has time, he tries to work on finishing it up for me. Did I mention my husband is very sweet?!
With all that being said, I love my room. NOW to decorate it! Hmmmmm, do I have any space left to decorate?

This is my closet that still needs doors, but I thought I would fill it up anyway. :)

My work area and my cabinets that we picked up for almost nothing at a rummage sale, because they were the wrong color. Yea! I like cheap and don't really mind the color. I need to pick up my countertop next time we take the truck to town. Currently, I have a piece from our old kitchen before we remodeled and plywood. Hey, it works! lol And definitely not scared I'll damage it.

This is one of my favorite things I have in my stamping room. It is a paper hoarder made my friend, Wendy's husband. It is incredible. It holds 144 colors of 12 X 12 paper, plus has cubbies to keep all my other goodies in.

My SU! stamps are all lined up and 'smiling' back at me. I loved these shelves once they were up. The shelves filled up quickly and my dear husband has offered to install another set behind the door. I don't have to sell all my retired sets. Woohooo! I am an addict...I know this....
